Detailed description of Moors Golf Club, The
Moors Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Portage, Michigan.
Moors Golf Course first opened for play in 1979. The course was designed by Arthur Hills.
The greens are sloped and fast. The fairways are tree lined with bunkers on almost every hole. The back nine is very scenic with several marshes in play.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,796 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,075 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 585 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 15, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 16, a 425-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Moors Golf Course is # 4, a 382 yard par-4.

private course, but if you can get an invitation very well worth the cost. range(grass) is complimentary, practice green/chipping area large and comparable to course conditions. the rough is, well, rough. need to do course management. I have played here 3 times the past few years and I look forward to it. challenging, fair, fast greens.

Fairway and green conditions are consistently excellent. A couple of "unique" holes (#9, #14, and #18), plus the challenging #16 and #17 keep it interesting.
